Sunday: La Bocana

After breakfast, we took a trip to La Bocana beach, about 10km from where we are staying. It was absolutely deserted, very long and wild. The waves were quite something - too big for us to venture in. While we were there, some surfers started riding the waves which was incredible to see.

Despite it being pretty early, it was pretty hot (and got hotter) so we built ourselves a little shelter by the shady side of a large rock. We felt very intrepid.

This afternoon we spent by the pool, dipping in and out of the water.

We ate locally tonight, just down the road from our hotel. I think we've really hit our relaxation stride now.
