Owl's well that ends well!

It was truly exciting here at the NYS AOG games tonight!  The short track flight runs were held at this new venue , the Finger Lakes airport where 6 contestants apparently vied for the win. This reporter only saw the finals where 3 short eared owls battled it out for the gold!. Racing into the dusk and finishing as night fell - our winner roared , er , eeepped out his excitement as he crossed the finish line! It was a memorable moment , especially as this reporter has never seen one of these owls before!!
