Meadow denizen
It never takes long to spot a frog when you go walking through the meadow. You find them frantically crawling, grasping, clambering over the many species of tiny plants that lie in their path to a presumably wetter space. The vegetation of the meadow is characteristically diminutive, though to them I imagine it's more like the Land of the Lost out there.
This frog is a brown morph of Pseudocris regilla, the Pacific Tree Frog. I've blipped it previously on 23 May 2012 (Hoopa, CA) and 27 April 2012 (Arcata, CA); both of them are green morphs.
