The Darkest Hour

And the emptiest. And the coldest.

I didn’t rate the film actually. Lots of cinematic cliches and overblown imagery, almost like Baz Lurman does World War 2. I thought John Lithgow’s Churchill in The Crown was better than Gary Oldman’s. And we actually were the only people in the cinema. But the main problem was that the heating was broken and it was bloody freezing. We complained and will probably email in and ask for our money back on a point of principle. Today was all about painting and stuff around the house and garden. Very cold but at least sunny. TSM cooked a wicked vegan hot pot.
