photographic experiment

Well I was hoping to blip a bird today, but that didn't happen. Good thing I can always count on the moon hanging around!
So I did a little experiment, comparing my old camera body to the one I am borrowing from a friend. Yes, her 70D performed better than my Rebel. Then I compared lenses, and I am relieved to say that my fancy lens did better than hers. 
Now with the knowledge that I am getting a nice tax return in the next few weeks, I am on the hunt for a reasonably priced 70D (after all, they are no longer in production in favor of the new 80D).
