Dicing with death
A Bluebottle* is attracted by the sweet nectar of a Pitcher plant in the Royal Botanic Gardens. These carnivorous plants attract insects which enter in, slide down the smooth surfaces inside and drown at the bottom of the "pitcher". The insects bodies break down and the plant benefits from the nutrietns.
