Hear Ye, Hear Ye!

The Captain of Team Chickadee declared the 4th Alternative Olympic Games to be officially closed, much to the sadness of the many participants.  However, the 5th AOG will open on 24 July, 2020 so the athletes are already talking training strategy. And, not surprisingly, the members of Team Squirrel could be heard talking some serious smack as they zipped through the woods. Over the next few days, your Intrepid Reporter (and, I'm sure other Intrepid Reporters around the globe) will be interviewing some of the athletes.  Stay tuned.

Hubs and I arrived home late this afternoon to drizzle and darkening skies - and that is my excuse for a rather sub-standard photo today.  

Thanks for the comments on my Swinging Family photo yesterday.  We started the day with my niece cooking a yummy breakfast of pancakes while Grand Nephew got the train station set up with the help of Hubs.  We lingered over breakfast, postponing the inevitable goodbyes.  The Little Man didn't want us to leave, especially Hubs.  A couple of quivering lower lips (ours) as we made our way to the car.  Until the next time...
