Bridge 106

It was a fabulous day for our Sunday walk with the walking group. We walked along the Shropshire Union Canal near Beeston and we stopped by this bridge, Tilstone Mill Bridge, for lunch. 

This bridge was used as a location in the TV series Home Fires a couple of years ago. It was a drama about a group of women who looked after the community while the men in their lives went off to fight in World War 2.
