After the rain

We had a good fall of rain last night and the colours all round seemed so vibrant today.
We were unable to leave the village this morning due to an annual cycle race with 4000 cyclists competing, but fortunately could get to the golf club...following the last two very tired competitors, for a friend's  birthday lunch.
