Sea Legs

Whenever I find myself in our local House of Fraser store (usually on the way to their cafe), I like to wander through the art section. Most of it is hideously over-priced, imho, but sometimes there's something interesting and a bit different to make me pause and take a second look. Today it was this sculpture titled Sea Legs by an artist called Rebecca Lardner - quite fun and quirky.
The notes alongside her work say that her style originates in her Dorset upbringing and her love of the distinctive Jurassic coastline. They also describe her as 'the modern day L. S. Lowry' - I've included one of her paintings as an extra so you can judge for yourself about that.
