Stained Glass

I do like stained glass; and there is something illuminating about the motivations of those who paid for it. 

This is from the very top of the altar window at church. The colours vary depending on the light outside, time of day etc... Sometimes you can't even see the little triangle pieces which surround it. In fact, using my new camera on full zoom, its the first time I've realised there is actually a design in the little triangles; a design that isn't visible to the congregation below. I do wonder if it is intended to be an oak leaf, from the forest which used to surround the area.
