Ice Cream Cake

We had a beautiful sunny day today, and warm in the shelter of the garden. After church had a nice lunch and a read of the papers, then we pottered about the house and garden in the afternoon. We were invited to G's for a meal in the evening; C made the soup, potato and leek, great taste; G did the main course, a lovely roast, and E made Ice Cream Cake for dessert. It was all lovely, especially the Ice Cream Cake.

My photograph is of E putting the finishing touches to our dessert; she is a great wee baker, and really enjoys it.
