Drippy beak

D has to be in Christchurch this week, so after dropping her off at the airport this afternoon, I took time out to explore the bird life around the inner Manukau Harbour, near the sewage works and Puketutu Island. Lots of godwits and pied stilts feeding on the mudflats on the incoming tide, and plenty of shags and black swans.
