The white hen comes to the back door a lot again - she stopped while Banjo was staying.
She will come in the house if she can, and, while I do have a soft spot for her, I don't want her pooping in the house.

My neighbour was away for a couple of nights, so I have been feeding the hens for her (I always do give them some wild bird feed and any scraps). They are easy animals to keep, as they get themselves up and out in the morning, and put themselves to bed. There may be more security required in other parts of the country, but they have no predators here, so don't have to be locked in at night.
