Quick.....Before he Flies!

This little Bewick's Wren has been zipping around the backyard for awhile but I have never been quick enough to get a photo until today. Then he sat here for probably 30 seconds.....perfect, enough for a decent shot!

It was  sunny  when I left for a walk; I walked to Bethany Pond without my camera and saw a Blue Heron in the Creek and then the Bald Eagle on a pole by the pond....... the sky opened with a downpour of rain and hail......I was soaked when I got back home. Smiling and happy, but very cold and wet. :-)) As soon as I got to my driveway the sun came back out and the skies were blue again......oh well, I got my walk!
