Flower Market

We left the hotel and visited a flower market en route to Periyar where we are spending the night.  The market was noisy, bustling, smelly with good and bad scents, people everywhere. A fascinating place to visit and see the work that goes into making garlands. Wonderful how fast they are made - and sold! 
A long journey with so much of interest en route - we saw brick makers, cotton farmers, people harvesting and drying rice with many combines and tractors in use. A wonderful trip to our stop for the night. Views here are sensational and the infinity pool was very welcome!
