Norfolk

On the move again.

This time to visit my mother in Downham Market in Norfolk.

Norfolk is a part of East Anglia (the big bump on the right side of the UK on a map).

The change in almost everything is apparent here

Styles of housing, pace of life, and, the accent (dialect).

Downham is an old market town with centuries of tradition and certainly has a unique charm about it.

I have to say that I do feel like having travelled back in time a bit.

I mean the local railway station has a hand operated signal box!
