Shield Maid Nieces

A bright and sunny day, dry too, but that bitter cold breeze continues on.

Off to work I the museum today, it's my weekend on.  The start of the day was quiet, but it soon picked up and a busy day to end up with.  We also had Shetland tour guides in for a tour, and to learn about the museum for the summer season coming.  A mad dash after work, and headed for the ferries to Unst.  A long night ahead.

It's the big night for Norwick UHA, and they've had a cold bit good day for it.  A windy procession, burn the galley and then I'm off to the hall for the night.  My brother-in-law, Ingram, is in the Jarl Squad, and so are my Unst nieces too.  They were freezing, but soon warmed up with granny and the burning galley.  The lasses were loving being Shield Maids.  Mam Pat, with Lottie and Anna, and the Jarl Aaron Priest behind.  Taken at Norwick Beach, Unst.
