Winter Bird Fair

Today I took the boys along to a Winter Bird Fair at Langford lakes. It was fantastic and the boys loved it. We saw wild birds (a robin, bluetit, great tit, longtailed tit, wren, tree creeper and even 2 kingfishers) being ringed, measured and weighed before being set free again. We also saw several other birds in the lakes and surrounding reeds.

I've neglected Blip of late as life seems to have become a little busy, so I'm going to be blipping less often but am still here!
