Oscar

I was delighted to feel well enough to go into Hexham today for a much needed haircut and to do some shopping. It was a lovely sunny day too.

Sarah cut my hair for the first time. I think it's fine, but I always wait to wash it myself before I'm sure about the shape!

Aldi was heaving with shoppers, but I enjoyed stocking up, until I discovered that they had no large paper tissues. We are almost out of them after my blowing and coughing of the last two weeks!!

Julie came this afternoon. The catkins had been very relaxed this morning and Oscar even explored into Mum's bedroom on his own. I thought we might try sitting in the lounge and see what happened. It was predictable. The cats went behind the piano and they did not come out again until about 2 hours after Julie left. They are still not ready for more human contact.

I took today's blip this morning, while Oscar was enjoying his view of the garden and the birds.
