The Wind of Change

The wind has changed direction. Usually, the prevailing winds here are from the West. They sweep across the Pennines from Manchester and can be pretty cold. However, the wind from the opposite direction is coming from Siberia, via Rotherham. There seems little doubt that in a couple of days, it will bring bitterly cold temperatures and snow. Plans for courtship will have to go on hold for the time being.
The trail cam showed 2 Badgers on the patio last night. I wonder if they will retreat into their sett once the snow arrives.
