All went wrong.....

this morning. We made a plan.....that could have been the mistake! A few hundred yards away from home we found an injured collie, probably middle aged, with no ID. Detour to Wiveliscombe (wrong direction for where we were going) to find the vets closed so we went to Wellington (wrong direction again). It transpired that the dog was not chipped either. They think it is a dislocated hip as it’s back leg was completely twisted out of position. There is a possibility that we know whose dog it is but they weren’t at home when we first found it but the vets had a mobile number. So we had to cancel the morning visit to a friend to help with some carpentry which we’ll now do tomorrow. We both hope that the dog is alright and hopefully the vets will let J know.
