Friday: Lobster House

The internet at the hotel drops in and out a bit so I think there's going to be the occasional back-blipping. Beyond blip, I don't mind at all as I'm using this holiday to disconnect a fair bit.

We slept very well and then had a relaxing morning by the pool, reading and dipping in and out of the water. This afternoon we headed to the beach - it's small but full of life and character. We stayed for a few sundowners looking out over the sea.

Colleagues have been sending pictures of a very snowy Vancouver. Meanwhile it's 32 degrees here - I think we've chosen the right time to come away. It's odd not to have the cats to worry about - it's the first time in years.
