Seafood at the Portuguese Square

We visited the Portuguese Square in the Melaka Portuguese Settlement on recommendation of friends. Although it is a busy time of year in Melaka, we did not suffer too much in the traffic and found parking relatively easily. Upon arrival we were immediately approached by several 'marketers', all recommending their food stall as the best. After having a look around we settled for Stall 3. We were not dissapointed. The service was prompt and friendly and the Portuguese Seafood dishes very enjoyable. I enjoyed the lively and colorful atmosphere prevailing at the square. As is the tradition during Chinese New Year, we were also 'entertained with a fireworks display, which to my mind they could rather refrain from. Overall we enjoyed our outing to the Square, I will go there again on my next visit to Melaka.
