The other castle

So here is Bamburgh Castle, seen from Holy Island. It has been a glorious day on the island. Sunny and warm and still.

As soon as the causeway was safe to cross, lots and lots of people appeared and, although it does destroy the peace somewhat, it was really nice to see families out and about and enjoying the sunshine in these lovely surroundings. Just what everyone needed after the summer we have had.

My sunrise yesterday was very popular and I thank everyone who commented on it, rated it and favoured it. I was pleased, because I loved the picture myself and was actually quite proud of it.
