i do like a good medal!

today i took part in the birmingham half marathon. i was very glad to get it finished, let me tell you! heehee! bit hilly for my liking! in the past year, i have completed 3 half marathons, and one full marathon...not something i ever thought i would hear myself say! it still fascinates me that i have done that as i have never achieved anything sporty in my life (not counting coming second in the egg and spoon race in primary school and coming third in the 3 legged race in brownies!!) :-) and now i need (to watch homeland and) have a sleep!
