WHAT??????

In a startling turn of weather here at Canyon Gate Stadium, the games had to be called because of snow on the mountains. Everyone was in total disbelief when a few flakes fell here. 

Earlier in the day, young Rhett from Team Robin was practicing his pose for his medal presentation (see extra). He wanted to make sure that his best side was showing!

As this reporter was taking pictures of the stadium, one of the competitors from Team Grackle had stolen what looked like a cheese puff and was trying to sneak away without anyone noticing. He will have to do the walk of shame after this picture is seen by everyone around the world. (extra 2)

The saddest part of this is kayakgirl will be here Monday for our trip to the canyons. I had been boasting about the warm weather we have been having, but now she will have to pack her thermals and I am having to raid my sister's closet for warmer clothes. Not quite what we had in mind, but we are determined to go anyway.

One more day of events and then the closing ceremonies will be upon us. It is said that it will be "over the top". Stay tuned.

I am grateful to be looking forward to a fun adventure with a special friend. We have had some wild adventures together. Who know what we will get ourselves in to!
