An emergency blip. I was too tired to put in the effort.

I went to Christchurch to do my shopping, and didn’t have the energy to do it all. It’s frustrating to go all that way and have to come without some of the things I went there for. Still, I got my groceries and some fresh fruit, so it wasn’t all bad.

Nevertheless, I had an amazing trip in. I drove the full length of the Old West Coast Road to the outskirts of the city (40km) and I saw no other vehicles going in the same direction. Some of the straights are several kilometres long. There were 30-odd going the other way.
