The robin

One of the birds that I see the most in the garden has to be the robin.There is always one around either following me as I dig or sitting somewhere and singing.Today I counted four at one time.Two displayed with their heads moving from side to side with their chests sticking out.I know they can fight to the death but luckily I have never seen that happen.
Each one seems to have it’s own singing patch , one on this twig, another in a tree, one for the arbour roof and another on the fence.
Although it was over 0 degrees when I got up this morning it felt colder with a strong breeze.Some sunshine and quite hazy.
