MistleThrush

Had a visit from the thrush again today.  He sat for ages in the morning sun letting me take lots of shots.  The sun was shining right on his lovely chest feathers showing them to perfection. It was lovely to see such a blue sky and some sun this morning, after all the grey we have had lately.  It is still bitterly cold though.
This is the captain of Team Thrush composing himself before the start of the Individual Balancing on a Branch event.  There is strong competition in this event, but Britain is confident that Team Thrush will do us proud.  I have just heard that the Pigeons have some tricks up their wings, there may be some jostling and pushing.  I see a few disqualifications ahead.
