Office installation

The owners of my apartment building have built themselves office space on the mezzanine level. I think they're a sizeable family-owned company. It'll be a relief when they move in because there's been quite a bit of noise over the last few months; sometimes a little, sometimes enough to wake me for a few weeks.

Drinks at the Embassy tonight before I head to the airport to go to Muscat. I still can't work out why I'm going through Dubai, instead of flying direct which only takes two hours. Maybe Oman Air wasn't an option on sites like Expedia.... anyway, it's going to be a loooong night/morning.

I'm escaping for four days as we've been warned that you either stay cooped up inside, escape, or risk being drenched in water fights, put up with traffic chaos etc for the holiday to celebrate National and Liberation days.....
