Cooking on gas...

Or not...
This month's cooking class was scheduled to be at my house, so you can imagine my horror to wake up and find that my gas hob refused to work and no amount of playing with the fuse box/plug/switches had any impact on the situation whatsoever.
Fortunately a friend has a portable induction hob that she could bring to save the day, and as I'm still waiting on a man to come by and see if he can fix the problem, I really should have kept that hob...
