My sister in law's Mum has died. The priest will not agree to the funeral plans so Sister Sludge have been asked to step in. 

(Sister Sludge is the collective name for me and my 3 sisters)

My S-in-L wants the crem first and then the church - like we had for our parents.. Therefore the difficult bit is done before a (joyous) ceremony.

It is the same Catholic church but a different priest. They prefer the body in the church overnight.

I hope we can sort it out.
