Flower Friday - Morning Crocus (or Crocii?)

It's crocuses. Crocus is a Greek derived word and so the Latinate double i doesn't apply. If you care. Which frankly I don't. :-) This lovely clump is in a part of the village not yet being built on, which we came across on our morning walk today. Our village is blessed to have a couple of very active community gardening groups, and they do a fantastic job of beautifying the verges and open green spaces. The banks on the entry into the village look equally great, with snowdrops and cyclamen developing into swathes of colour (extra).
