Dun Blonde.....

Another busy day. Off to St Boswells mart with a trailer load of store heifers this morning. A slow journey with hold ups with horses, a 5 mile detour cos the council shut a road ( again ! ) and thick freezing fog over Soutra hill.
They sold fairly well ,then a quick bite in the canteen and dropped the trailer at my mechanic pal for a brake and bearings check up.
Back up the road in time for an Aberdeenshire cattle buyer to view a different lot of cattle . A bit of haggling, deal done, hands shaken and the lorry was in to collect them within an hour as it was passing .
It took about as long tonight to fill in all the paperwork and notify the movements to BCMS . The joys !
