Lake Opuha

Went for a drive to lake opuha , fresh snow on the mountains and people were waterskiing and swimming in the lake. The lake is very full with only a foot or two of the boat ramp above water, lots of traffic on the road as the Fairlie to Geraldine is closed to traffic so they can fix a washout at a bridge on that road. On the way home got passed by a car going really fast and a few moment later a highway patrol car was shooting past with sirens and lights, I wonder if he caught up with him
