Baking!

I've got a new tray bake book. It's great apart from lots of the recipes use corn syrup which isn't available in the UK. Annoying. Anyway for this chocolate flapjack thing we substituted golden syrup but I won't be able to do that everyone.

It was a girlie day, so once she's done her jobs we baked and then we went to watch The Darkest Hour. It was C's choice and for the vast majority of it she was totally captivated. She had loads of questions after, which is all good. The film itself was very good, I don't think I realised how close to capitulating we were.
