Smashed

I dropped my bag at the weekend and instinctively checked my big camera for damages, assuming that my small camera would be fine in its padded case. Only discovered tonight that the small one took the hit, and, in doing so, proved that a cheap £10 filter is always, always worth the money, to protect a £200 lens.

I got lucky. A new filter is needed. A new lens is not.
