Raffle

A busy day and a successful one to boot.

Jamie, Jacinta and I braved the London roads and drove to Jamie's appointment near Swiss Cottage.  The roads are ok - some of the other drivers less so!  The appointment went well :-)

Probably best to gloss over the preparation of a belated Christmas meal with Mum.  Instructions on how long things take to defrost need to be accurate!  It was delicious - eventually!

This evening I gave a talk to the West London AGS group, possibly the smallest group I have visited and certainly the group with the best raffle.  Everyone comes away with at least two prizes .... and the speaker does not even have to pay for their ticket.  The talk was well received and I came away with a dionysia cutting (a special alpine house plant) five pleiones (valuable hardy orchid ) and a gift of a jar of marmalade.  A very friendly and welcoming group :-)
