World Thinking Day

Those of you in the Girl Guiding (GG )or Scout sector would know that the 22 February is world thinking day. A celebration of Lord and Lady Baden-Powell birthday, today it would have been thier 108 birthday. 
GG celebrates with a theme and encourages it's 9million Girls to think of others on this day. 
Our division attended a service at church where we sang, remembering other and renewing our promises a evening to remember . 
Our unit also swapped thinking day cards with other units to share our thoughts . 
A fabulous time in GG world and for me makes me love my voluntary work.  #volunteering #girlguiding
