In bloom

I visited the Japanese Friendship Garden for the first time in a few weeks. I missed it. Some plants are in bloom now, so it's extra pretty.

A woman in front of me in the gift shop didn't understand what "koi food" meant. She thought it was people food. She asked them if she was supposed to refrigerate it. She wanted to know if she should take it home to her Japanese friend. I had to stifle laughter!
