orchid flowers

I have an orchid thats been flowering since september  and has just started to lose some of its petals. Collected them for a blip on top  of the softboxbox.   I tried to add a background layer , a very enlarged and blurred photo of one of the petals,  but haven't quite worked out how to do this well. Need a bit more practise I reckon.
