Mad Hatter's Tea Party

Today I went for afternoon tea with my two daughters at a local teashop called the 'Mad Hatter's Teashop' which is decorated with the theme of Alice in Wonderland. It was very nice we were given ham, ham and mustard, cream chesse and cucumber, cheese and chutney and cheese and onion sandwiches, salad and crisps, then there bite size chunks of battenburg, lemon cake and chocolate brownies and strawberries and cup-cakes and scones with jam and cream and of course a pot of tea. We spent a lovely couple of hours together as with work commitments and youngest daughter not living at home now it is very difficult to get times when we can all get together but this week we have all been on holiday from work so we have been able to spend lots of quality time together.
