Sky writing

Today was the day my neighbour gave up her fight.  She passed away quietly this morning in hospital.  She was the first person to greet us when we moved to the village nearly 24 years ago and in that time has lived a quiet and very unmodern life.  She washed her clothes by hand, grew her own vegetables and fruit which she shared with me at every opportunity, drove an old Morris Minor and rescued unwanted dogs.. Sidney will be rehomed somewhere without other dogs as he really doesn't like them!  She knew nothing of the internet or online shopping and until Christmas time was living independently.. sadly she fell ill and went downhill very quickly.  She refused help from the doctor and insisted she just had a nasty flu.. until she collapsed and was taken in to hospital three weeks ago.. it was already too late.
