FRIENDS
Again a beautiful day. And another fabulous walk.
We drove to Derental, from Meinbrexen one goes uphill and there is this tranquil village., known for its pure air.
Piet Hein thought firstly that we could walk in the direction of Fuerstenberg, but wandering over the vast fields with this immensely cold wind, did not attract us so much.
Walking in the opposite direction seemed a much better idea. And it was.
It is a delight to see the pretty houses with nice gardens and leave them behind again. Our path did not enter the Solling woods, in the shadow it would have been too cold too. But we found a bench, sheltered, and the sun warmed us.
The two horses, the white one with blue eyes, and the brown one, were engaged in cuddling each other. We stood and took innumerable photos of this endearing scene. My picture shows a moment when the brown horse had walked away. But soon enough he was back and the cuddling started all over.
I saw a fox in a valley and when we left Derental later I saw the same (?) fox again, sitting motionless on a path.
We had to buy some food things in the Rewe, and after that we reached our home safely.
I fel asleep on the couch after drinking my tea.
