The WRONG MEASUREMENTS

We have been in our humble home for almost 30 years and NOW decided to buy a radiator cover for the entrance hall. Trusting I am of hubby's ability to measure the size cover needed, we set off for B & Q on pensioners' day- we get 10% off a very over priced item. Came home, followed the instructions and before assembling, allowed to stand in the room where it was to be situated, for 24 hours. Today we assembled it only to find "he" did not make allowances for the beading alongside the skirting board.  So he had to saw off the little bit and then it fitted perfectly. Job done, but I had to share this with you just for fun. I make bigger mistakes than this!!!
