Karma Chameleon

Happy Thinking Day all.

Spotted this beauty on one of the trees outside a classroom window. I know they like it there because I've seen them on previous visits so I've been looking out for them, but this is the first I've seen this time.
I'm really glad I took the pictures from indoors, because as soon as it spotted me coming it shot off up the tree.
The final picture shows the work of the red ants on the damaged surface of the tree. They gather soil and bring it up the tree to build their tunnels and cities there. Very clever but I still don't like ants!
I rather think the lizard was enjoying a lunch time snack until I interrupted him!
