Received the Luke Skywalker meerkat this morning, obtained from Compare the Market of course!
Whoever came up with this marketing wheez probably got a medal, or a big pat on the back from the CEO but I wonder if he got a decent pay rise for it too? Any ideas or inventions when I worked for Nortel Networks were the property of the company but a monetary reward was given to people if the idea was taken up for production.
We have quite a few Meerkats now including, of course, Vassily the Biker Meerkat!
I'll have to dig them all out and have a family group photograph one day.
