Krause Glucke

Never seen a cauliflower mushroom here before - I'm very proud of this one!
It's Krause Glucke or Fette Henne here, literally "frizzy mother hen or "fat hen". My book says it tastes very good.

But actually this was the outstanding event of todays walk:
I scared up a wild boar from its nap - never saw it but heard it - and it did not sound amused - you should have seen me speeding!
There was a deerstand nearby and I waited around, ready to jump on the ladder - just in case.
This was scary, but I'm laughing now. Most likely the poor wild thing was more scared than I was, or why was it hiding? :))

Oh yes, and my mobile phone was sleeping at home again. :))
