Just whack the balloon

More Bloomsbury Festival, this time Store Street, which is decidedly esoteric in comparison to most street parties.

This game is a more humane version of the Spanish event, where a straw donkey is beaten by children holding sticks, until sweets fall out of its body. It always brought a lump to my throat imagining it might be a real donkey.

Anyway, much less easy to identify with a plaster covered balloon and I hope the little kiddie got to release his frustrations!
